Highlighted Matching Text – Areas within the report which are highlighted, indicate text which the check has found matches against. This does not necessarily mean the text has been plagiarised, as it may be a direct quote. It will be your responsibility to verify each highlighted section to ensure the text is correctly cited.

Similarity Score – The report will include a percentage score at the top of the report. This score is calculated by identifying how much of your text matches other source material.

Sources – A list of sources will be provided so you are able to view the matching content against the text in your document.
