Can you provide a certificate for the proofreading and editing?
Posted on 1st May by Admin
A professional editing certificate is available to all customers upon request. Commonly requested for journal article submissions and other publication purposes, the certificate provides official confirmation that your document has been edited by our professional team.
The certificate will include the TITLE of your document and the NAME of the author(s), along with a full summary of what was carried out as part of the editing service — giving you a clear and detailed record of the improvements made to your work. If you require any additional information to be included, please contact us.
Once your document has been edited, you will receive a Proofers Editing Certificate — official proof that your work has been professionally edited by our expert UK team.
How to Request Your Certificate
Once you have received your completed document by email, simply reply to that email to request your certificate. It will be sent in PDF format within 12 hours.
Each certificate is personalised and contains the following details:
Authors: The name(s) of the author(s) of the edited work.
Subject Title: The title of the document that has been edited.
Date of Submission: The date on which the document was submitted for editing.
What’s Included: A summary of what was included as part of the selected editing service, providing a clear record of the improvements made to your document.
Why Add a Certificate to Your Submission?

Proofreading and copy editing are often used interchangeably — but they are two distinct services that operate at very different levels. Choosing the wrong one for your document could mean submitting work that is technically error-free but still unclear, poorly structured or inconsistent. This guide explains the difference clearly so you can make the right choice.
Even the most carefully written document can contain errors that undermine its credibility. Proofreading is the final stage that catches what the writer misses — and in academic, professional and published writing, the difference between a proofread document and an unproofread one is immediately visible to any careful reader. This guide explains why proofreading matters and what it actually involves.
